Japan Imposed Entry Ban On 111 Countries And Regions, Including The Philippines.

Japan imposed an entry ban on 111 countries and regions, including the Philippines, as part of the country’s ongoing efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19.

This, as Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Monday said that Japan was expanding its entry ban to India and 10 other countries. Aside from India, other countries that were added to the list are the following: Afghanistan, Argentina, Bangladesh, El Salvador, Ghana, Guinea, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, South Africa, and Tajikistan.

The Foreign Ministry in Japan already had raised its travel advisory to these countries last week. With this, the number of countries and regions included in the said list climbed to 111.

The implementation of the entry ban would mean that foreign nationals who have been to areas included in the said list within the last 14 days would be turned away upon arrival. In a report on ABS-CBN News, the said move would start on Wednesday and would remain in place “for the time being”.

  1. that’s good if it is the way that study of their doctors for they will control the spreading of chinese covid-19 and it is only temporary good move japan.
