Huawei will host its Huawei Connect 2020 event on September 23-26 in China.
Huawei globally announced that the company will host its upcoming event, the Huawei Connect 2020, in China on September 23-26, 2020.
This, as Huawei Global posted an announcement on its website, announcing the event date and venue, which was scheduled on September 23 to 26 and will be held in Shanghai, China.
The announcement came despite US President Donald Trump stopped supplying chip orders from TSMC to Huawei and extending the trade ban on Huawei until May 2021 amid the COVID-19 pandemic, as such, the company and its branches worldwide were included in the Entity List of the United States.
Although tech events that were scheduled in the first half of the year 2020 were canceled due to global concerns amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Huawei will still push through with its annual event. Aside from Huawei, the IFA will also host its invite-only in-person tech event, the IFA 2020, which was scheduled from September 3 to 5 which will be held in Berlin.
As of this writing, only the event date and venue were revealed on its website. Huawei has yet to unveil the complete schedule of events, including keynotes, summits, and sessions. Aside from this, Huawei might launch some of its upcoming products during the event.
