Christian Evangelist Ravi Zacharias Died Due To Sarcoma.
Christian evangelist Ravi Zacharias died at his home in Atlanta on Tuesday (US Time) after having a battle with Sarcoma. He was 74 years old.
This, as Zacharias International Ministries confirmed the tragic passing of Ravi Zacharias. According to CNN, Ravi was a “leading figure among Christian Apologists”.
In a news release obtained by CNN, Ravi Zacharias founded Zacharias International Ministries way back in 1984 and also launched a “global team” of about 100 Christian scholars and authors who continued to speak, resource, train and address the questions of millions across the globe.
According to Zacharias International Ministries President Michael Ramsden, Ravi “saw the objections and questions of others” not as something to be turned down, but as “a cry of the heart” that needs to be answered.
As per the report, Ravi Zacharias was survived by his wife, Margie; daughters Naomi and Sarah; son Nathan; and his five grandchildren.
About Sarcoma
According to Mayo Clinic, Sarcoma was a type of cancer that can occur in different locations in one’s body.
Although it’s unclear what causes this disease, Mayo Clinic cited that there were a lot of factors that can increase the risk of having a sarcoma, including exposure to viruses, chronic swelling, radiation therapy for cancer, exposure to chemicals, and inherited syndromes.
Also, Mayo Clinic also mentioned the signs and symptoms of having a sarcoma, such as bone pain, weight loss, abdominal pain, a broken bone that happened suddenly, and a lump that can be felt through one’s skin that may or may not be painful.
