Vice Ganda, in his Twitter post, thanked the Congress as this was a big thing for them. Also, Chienna Filomeno and Kim Atienza posted on Twitter to thank the Congress for filing the said bill.

Meanwhile, Angel Locsin and Kathryn Bernardo posted on Instagram as they thanked the Congress for the said move.

Angel Locsin, on her Instagram, thanked House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano and the Congress for giving ABS-CBN “a fair chance in court” without shutting the broadcast network down. She added that she was praying that the result would favor the Filipino people and enabling them to help during the crisis caused by the coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19.

Also on Instagram, Kathryn Bernardo said that she was hoping “things get better from here”.

The approval on the second reading of the House Bill No. 6732 came after the National Telecommunications Commission issued cease and desist order against ABS-CBN last May 5, 2020, as the broadcast network’s franchise was expired last May 4.

As per the report, Hon. Alan Peter Cayetano said that ABS-CBN may be back on air starting June 2020.
