Update on the US Coronavirus Death Toll Amid the Outbreak of Pandemic
US CORONAVIRUS DEATH TOLL – The total COVID-19 deaths in the United States has increased by over 2,500 in just one (1) day.
United States is currently the hardest-hit city with regards to coronavirus, a pandemic that urged several nations to lock down their borders in the pursuit to contain its spread.
Going beyond what is expected of it, the said disease that was first recorded in China urged President Donald Trump to declare a national emergency in U.S.
Following his declaration, a huge budget for the U.S. healthcare system was transferred. Trump assured his people that the government will do much like procuring millions of testing kits in the fight against COVID-19.
However, it was followed by recording thousands of new cases of coronavirus daily with increasing number of deaths. For several days now, U.S. is recording more than one (1) thousand deaths daily due to COVID-19.
There were also several days when United States recorded more than two (2) thousand deaths due to to coronavirus. Recently, the US coronavirus death toll jumped by over 2,500 in just a day.
Based on a global tally of Worldometer, the recent addition on the coronavirus death count in the United States brought the total to 37,135. There are 31,631 new cases of coronavirus confirmed in U.S. bringing the total to 709,201.
The US coronavirus death toll takes a huge part in the global death toll that is at 154,126 now. Based on the tally, there is now a total of over 2.2 million of confirmed coronavirus cases across the globe.
