Apple CEO Tim Cook will ‘virtually’ appear at Ohio State University’s graduation for the class of 2020.
Tim Cook, the chief executive of Apple, was invited to have a “virtual appearance” at Ohio State University’s graduation for the class of 2020.
This, as Ohio State University, on its website, announced that the school will hold its virtual commencement for the class of 2020 which was set on May 3. The virtual commencement came as the United States already recorded over 270,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of this writing.
In a statement, Michael Drake, the president of Ohio State University, said that he was happy to announce that Tim Cook was the school’s spring commencement speaker, adding that the university was grateful for Cook’s participation.
Moreover, 9to5Mac reported that approximately 12,000 graduates will be given a diploma during the said commencement.
