Meizu officially announced that the smartphone company will launch its upcoming 5G-capable smartphone, the Meizu 17, in China on May 8, 2020.
This, as Meizu rescheduled its launch event from April 17 to May 8, yet the time remained unchanged to 2:30 p.m. (China time).
In its Facebook post, Meizu posted an announcement poster, revealing the official renders of its upcoming smartphone.
Based on the announcement poster, this smartphone would have a quad-rear camera setup, a punch-hole display, and smaller bezels on the front display.
Meizu will reveal the full details about this smartphone during the launch date, including the technical specifications, official prices, and availability.
Previously, Gizmochina reported that Meizu would also launch the Audi Special Edition of this smartphone in partnership with Audi Sport. However, the said variant would have a different setup on its rear camera as it would feature its simple LED unit instead of the light ring.
