Wowowin host Willie Revillame donates this amount to frontliners who are working hard amid the community quarantine due to COVID-19.

Willie is known to be generous in extending help to people who are in need. The main goal of his game show is giving financial help to the people, aside from giving entertainment.

Amid the crisis that the Philippines is currently facing due to the coronavirus, Willie also takes part. Although he is now in Puerto Galera where he is staying when community quarantine was implemented, he shared in a video his message and the things that his team is doing for other people.

Based on the article from Bandera, the game show host immediately sent “ayuda” to the frontliners in the checkpoints when community quarantine declared such as rice, coffee, and noodles.

Aside from this, Willie and his team are still talking about their plans to help those who are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Ito pong ginagawa ko ngayon at ng Wowowin para sa frontliners kasi sila po ngayon ‘yung nagsisilbi sa atin e, lalong lalo na ‘yung nurses, caregivers at ‘yung mga nagbubuwis ng buhay na mga doctor. Hindi ho ganoon kadali ang ginagawa nila para lang ho tulungan ang ating mga kababayan na dumadaan po sa pagsubok na ito, na coronavirus na ito,” he said.

He also encouraged Pinoys to unite and said that he will not stop helping those affected by this crisis. Based on the article, as promised, Willie Revillame donates also P1 million pesos. This is aside from the donations from his friends and sponsors.
