Sandy Andolong gave an update on the COVID-19 situation of her husband Christopher de Leon

Veteran actress Sandy Andolong shared an update about the condition of her husband Christopher de Leon who tested positive for COVID-19.

Amid this health crisis, not only in the Philippines but also in several parts of the world, the infected people came from different walks of life. There were celebrities, athletes, government officials, and ordinary citizens who already tested positive.

On March 17, the award-winning actor shared through his Instagram post that he tested positive for novel coronavirus disease 2019. He advised those who have contact with him to undergo self-quarantine.

“In this time of trial, we ask for your prayers and we continue to praise and thank the Lord for His goodness in our lives,” the actor said. Following this, his co-stars in the Kapamilya drama series Love Thy Woman also took necessary precautions.

Based on the article from Bandera, Christopher’s wife, Sandy, shared that the actor is fine now. “Okay na okay siya,” the actress shared.

“Wala nang ibang symptoms, sipon lang. In fact, hindi worried ang mga doktor sa kanya kasi mukhang malakas siya,” she added. Sandy also said that they are not panicking amid the health condition of her husband. “Kalma lang, hindi kami nagpa-panic. Malakas ang pananampalataya namin sa Panginoon,” Sandy also said.

The actress also shared her advice to all the people amid the enhanced community quarantine. Sandy Andolong said that it is better to stay at home and follow the advice of the government and the Department of Health. She added that people should not panic.
