The van of Kim Chiu was shot and here’s her statement about this
Chinita Princess Kim Chiu breaks her silence on the shooting incident that happened on Wednesday morning.
Based on the initial report, six gunshots were fired by 2 gunmen who were riding a motorcycle. The suspects were wearing black helmets. Fortunately, the Kapamilya actress was laying on her van when the shooting incident happened. She is safe now.
The actress proceeded to her taping after that without any idea why her van became a target, based on the report. A few hours after that shocking morning filled with fear for her, Kim Chiu breaks silence through her recent Instagram post.
She related that she has no idea why that happened. Some of her guesses of the possible reasons behind the shooting incident were it was just a case of mistaken identity and perhaps she became a victim of “napag-trip-an lang”. However, she stressed out that it was a bad joke.
“6 am on my way to taping, I was asleep inside my car,” she shared. Kim also revealed that there were 8 gunshots. “I was shocked and ask my driver what happened, then I saw this bullet on the windshield where my head is laying,” she related. The actress also said that luckily she was asleep and did not insist to read the script. If that was the case, the worst thing might have happened to her.
“Wala naman akong kaaway or ka atraso. Kung sino man ang gumawa nito Diyos na ang bahala sa inyo dalawa,” the Kapamilya star said. Kim Chiu also thanked all the people who tried and are trying to reach out to her to check if she is okay. However, she said in her post that she can’t answer everybody’s messages right now.
