Brazil confirmed its first COVID-19 fatality.

Brazil confirmed its first fatality from the coronavirus disease or COVID-19 as Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro declared a state of emergency over the pandemic.

This, as authorities said that Brazil’s first victim was a 62-year-old man with underlying health conditions who died in Sao Paulo on Monday (Brazil Time). As reported by Globo News, the victim was diabetic and had high blood pressure.
