In a tweet from Ovation TV, the show’s network on Monday evening (Tuesday morning in the Philippines) confirmed about Lipton’s passing, saying that the said network “will miss him dearly, but we wish him peace as he arrives at those pearly gates.”

According to Kedakai Mercedes Lipton, James’ wife, the passing of James at his home in New York came following his battle with bladder cancer.
