A female physician expressed dismay to stubborn Pinoys amid the COVID-19 threat
A female physician called out stubborn Pinoys amid the increasing threat of novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The said physician whose Facebook name is Catriona Grayish expressed her dismay to those who can’t simply follow orders as the most part of the Philippines is now under community quarantine.
According to the physician’s post, a female patient wanted to be tested for COVID-19 because she “had a fever but without cough nor colds.” However, she was with a male friend but the latter did not undergo tests despite that he was exposed also.
“Apparently, si Male friend ay nagpunta na pala nong Thursday sa ER and was advised self-quarantine. So anong mali don? Sorry to say but I think Filipinos are the worst followers,” the female physician shared.
She also lambasted those Pinoys who are transgressing the orders of PNP and AFP from the President but ignored the simple instruction to do self-quarantine. “So I asked the Male friend bakit siya lumabas ng bahay if pinagseself quarantine siya. Kasi daw wala daw kasama si Female friend. So sabi ko, di na bata si Female friend. Ni hindi nga symptomatic nong time na yun. Kesyo nakakotse naman daw sila,” the physician added.
For her, there are those who really want to reason out even though they know they are wrong. “Ako bilang Triage non ay makikisalamuha pa sa ibang darating na mga pasyente. I’ll be putting everyone at risk,” she stressed out.
The female physician also shared her conclusion about why the government has become so strict in implementing the necessary measures amid the COVID-19 threat.
“Mahirap kasi tayong asahan na gawin ang tama para sa ikabubuti sana ng lahat. Matitigas ulo natin. Ma-pride. Yung iba, mapulitika. Tama na please. Nakakapagod kayong pagsilbihan,” she said.
The said post of the physician already reached over 20 thousand reactions and with 19 thousand shares. Several netizens agreed to what she said.
