Facebook officially launched its redesigned desktop layout as well as introducing dark mode, which was already available for selected users.
This, as the redesigned desktop of Facebook featured an updated, rounded design as compared to the previous version. The shortcuts and chat layout was now larger, taking advantage of its extra space.
Also, the Facebook logo has been redesigned from a box shape to a circular shape.

In order to activate this feature, follow this step:
- Click the Settings menu (located at the upper right corner)
- Select “Switch to New Facebook”
Once done, Facebook will redirect you to its redesigned site.
Take note, that this feature was present on selected Facebook users across the globe. You’re lucky enough if you have one!
