Former child star Bamba Leelin who became popular during the 1980s is living this kind of life now after she left the entertainment industry.
Bamba starred in the movie Moomoo with Gloria Diaz and Eddie Rodriguez in 1985. Among her famous performances on the big screen were in the movies Barbi: Maid in the Philippines in 1989 with Henyo Master Joey de Leon and Petrang Kabayo and Pilyang Kuting in 1990 with comedian/politician Roderick Paulate.
Other movies that featured her during the 80s era were: Once Upon a Time (1987), Bunsong Kerubin (1987), No Retreat… No Surrender… Si Kumander (1987), 1 + 1 = 12 Plus 1 (1987), Love Boat: Mahal Trip Kita (1988), Love Letters (1988), One Day, Isang Araw (1988), Sheman: Mistress of the Universe (1988), Bote, Dyaryo, Garapa (1989), May Pulis, May Pulis sa Ilalim ng Tulay (1989), Captain Yagit (1989), Pido Dida 3: May Kambal Na (1992).

Among her contemporaries as a child star were Aiza Suguerra, Lady Lee, and RR Herrera. During her teen years, she became part of That’s Entertainment and her batchmates included Ara Mina and Patricia Javier.
On the height of her popularity, Bamba decided to leave the showbiz industry to pursue her studies and finished the production design course. After graduation, she worked in the advertising department of a boutique, based on the article from GMA.
In 2005, she got married to Jaypee Cruz and they are blessed with a child. Currently, Bamba Leelin is now an owner of an RTW shop at high-end malls.
