TGIS cast members made shocking revelations about their past relationships on Eat Bulaga‘s segment Bawal Judgemental.
The youth-oriented show was popular during the 90s and it features teen stars who became big stars in show business. Some of them already journeyed into a different field while some of them remained in the entertainment industry.
During the February 27 episode of the longest-running noontime show, the choices for the Bawal Judgement segment are the cast members of TGIS.
In that segment, shocking revelations about past relationships of the cast member were shared. Here are the things they revealed.
Bobby Andrews and Angelu De Leon’s real relationship
Bobby and Angelu were love team partners in the said show, the most popular tandem. However, their onscreen partnership never extended to the real-life. “We work well kasi together. We are good friends, we mesh together. Unfortunately, hindi lang naging kami,” Bobby said.
Angelu also said, “Yung explanation talaga namin ni Bob, because nga we’re really soulmates, we’re more than friends but less of a lover. That’s why we’re really good with each other.”
Angelu de Leon’s relationship with two TGIS co-stars
The actress revealed that she had relationships with co-stars Michael Flores and Onemig Bondoc. Angelu said that her relationships with them happened during Ang TV days, the youth-oriented show in the Kapamilya network during the 90s.
Ciara Sotto had a relationship with her TGIS co-star
Ciara also had a love team partner in the show. It was Onemig Bondoc who also became her boyfriend for 8 months. When asked how he courted her, Ciara said, “E, pumupunta sa bahay namin, visit, nagbibigay ng mga chocolates.”
Two loveteams led to real-life relationships
The onscreen tandem of Polo Ravales and Sunshine Dizon led to a real-life relationship, as well as the tandem of Dino Guevarra and Kim delos Santos.
TGIS became a way that Bobby Andrews met his partner
Bobby revealed that he met his wife Bienne Co on the set of TGIS. “Nagkakilala kami sa taping ng TGIS, my wife was still a student during that time, tapos kasama niya yung mga classmates niya, nagpa-practicum sila doon and that’s where I met her,” the actor said.
“But when I really started dating her, after a couple of months, nagkita uli kami kasi meron kaming radio interview, it was Angelu who introduced us again,” he added.
