Los Angeles Lakers was ready to honor its former star, Kobe Bryant, at Friday’s (Saturday in the Philippines) game against the Portland Trail Blazers at the Staples Center.
In a Twitter post, Los Angeles Lakers shared Staples Center’s new look, captioned “the house that Kobe built.” Los Angeles Lakers page also shared photos of jerseys and shirts.

This would be the Lakers’ first game since Bryant died in a helicopter crash last Sunday (Monday in the Philippines). The game between Lakers and Trail Blazers will start at 7:30 p.m. PT (11:30 a.m. in the Philippines).
Staples Center announced in a tweet that Kobe’s fans who have no tickets to Lakers – Trail Blazers game may watch the pre-game tribute to the nine victims who died in a helicopter crash.
