Over 70 Devices Are Snapdragon 865 5G-powered, Says Qualcomm

Over 70 devices were Snapdragon 865 5G-powered, according to Qualcomm.

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. revealed in an announcement that there were over 70 devices with Snapdragon 865 5G Mobile Platform have been launched or in development.

This, as Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. officially announced that global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and brands — ASUS, Black Shark, Fujitsu Connected Technologies Limited, iQOO, Lenovo, Nubia, OPPO, realme, Redmi, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, Sharp Corporation, Sony, vivo, Xiaomi and ZTE — have selected Snapdragon 865 5G Mobile Platform for their 5G devices launched in 2020.

According to Alex Katouzian, senior vice president and general manager, Qualcomm was “committed to driving and scaling 5G to the consumer” as the Snapdragon 865 5G Mobile Platform “will help make 5G accessible to billions of smartphone users around the world, further enabling immersive mobile experiences like high-speed gaming, intelligent multi-camera capture and all-day battery life.”

Over 70 designs, according to Qualcomm, have been announced or were in development based on the platform after introducing the Snapdragon 865 Mobile Platform in December 2019. In addition, the company revealed that more than 1,750 designs have also been announced or were in development based on its Snapdragon 8-series mobile platforms.
