Police Spit on by Chinese Driver in Manila Who Resisted Arrest
CHINESE DRIVER – A Chinese man spit on a police in Manila during his arrest over a traffic violation.
The Philippines is one of the countries where there are a lot of other nationalities. One of the foreign races that has a huge number in the country is the Chinese.
Most Chinese people in the Philippines got businesses in the country. Others have married Filipinos while some are here for vacation and other purposes.
There were several times in the past when Chinese people in the country sparked headlines. Recently, another Chinese individual hit news.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, a Chinese driver spit on a police in Manila during his arrest over a traffic violation. The Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau noted that he violated the number coding.
However, instead of stopping and talking to the authorities when he was asked to park his car in Binondo, the Chinese man allegedly tried to escape. An accident even took place before he was cornered at Tayuman.
Sachets of suspected drugs were seized from his vehicle. Based on the report, he was with another person in the car. When he was arrested, the Chinese driver spit on one of the police apprehending him.
Currently, the Chinese national is faced with multiple charges over the traffic violation he committed, the sachets found on his car, and several others. The authorities are also coordinating with the Chinese Embassy.
As of this writing, there are still no other information regarding the incident involving the Chinese man and the police who apprehended him. More updates may be posted soon.
