Norma Michaels, an actress who was recognized for her role as Josephine on “King of Queens“, has died. She was 95 years old.
According to a statement made by Norma’s spokesperson, she passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 17, at her home in Palm Springs, California.
She started her career on The George Gobel Show way back in 1954. Aside from her role on King of Queens, she also had roles in Days of Our Lives, Ally McBeal, Angel, Medium, iCarly, Melissa & Joey, Boston Legal, Lizzie McGuire, and The Crazy Ones.
She also appeared in movies such as You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, Wedding Crashers, and Easy A, among others. Her last appearance was in Hello, My Name is Doris, a 2015 indie film where she played as the mother of Sally Field.
Norma Michaels was survived by Jasper Cole, Dennis Turrone, and several cousins. According to Norma’s spokesperson, the memorial services and a celebration of her life were planned for March.
