Vanessa Bryant, the Wife of Kobe Bryant, Spoke on His & their Daughter Gigi’s Death
KOBE BRYANT – The late NBA star’s wife, Vanessa Bryant, broke her silence on his and his daughter’s untimely death.
On Monday (Philippine time), a lot of people woke up to a heartbreaking news. Former NBA star Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash together with his 13-year-old daughter.
Kobe and his daughter, Gianna or “Gigi”, were supposedly off for her basketball event. Like her father, she is into the sport and she visibly really has a future to it.
However, the bright future of Gianna in the field may not be seen anymore by the world. The 13-year-old died in the helicopter crash together with his father and seven (7) other people.
The world is grieving for the loss of the NBA star and his daughter. Many stressed that Kobe is really a legend and his records are impossible to totally match.
Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gigi are survived by his wife, Vanessa Bryant, and their three (3) other daughters. They have Natalia, Bianka, and their youngest, Capri.
Recently, Vanessa Bryant broke her silence on the death of Kobe Bryant and their daughter, Gigi. In an Instagram post, the wife of the late NBA star expressed her gratitude to everyone who extended their love, support, and sympathy to her and her family.
She described Kobe as an “adoring husband” and an “amazing father” to their children. She also stated that Gianna is a “loving, thoughtful, and wonderful” daughter and “amazing sister” to her siblings.
“There aren’t enough words to describe our pain right now. I take comfort in knowing that Kobe and Gigi both knew that they were so deeply loved. “
According to Vanessa, Kobe and Gigi are beautiful blessings that were taken too soon. She wishes to have them forever and she cannot imagine how life would be without them.
The wife of Kobe Bryant asks for privacy and respect amid their time of mourning and navigating to a “new reality”. She also posted details on the fund raising for the families affected by the incident. Here is Vanessa Bryant’s Instagram post:
