Kobe Bryant, Daughter Gianna Die in Helicopter Crash
KOBE BRYANT – The retired professional basketball player and his daughter, Gianna, died in a helicopter crash.
One of the sports that is widely known and played across the globe is basketball. Not only men but as well as women and both young and old are fanatics of this sport.
With regards to the said sport, many cagers were successful in making a mark in the basketball field and building a name. These basketball players have played in the international arena and wowed a lot of people.
One of the most prominent cagers in the history of basketball is Kobe Bryant. He is considered as one of the best among the best players of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
However, recently, a sad news about Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna, crossed the surface. They died in a helicopter crash in California.
Based on a report on The New York Times, Kobe and his daughter were among the nine (9) people aboard a helicopter that crashed in Calabasas. John Altobelli, a college basketball coach, was also one of the passengers who passed away.
According to Los Angeles County Fire Chief Daryl Osby, the firefighters had a hard time accessing the crash site. They had to hike to get to the area.
Based on the report, the pilot of the helicopter also died in the incident. The other victims were yet to be named as respect to their families who may have yet to know about what happened to them.
Currently, there are still no other information regarding the matter. The death of the NBA star has taken the social media by storm and many are grieving over the loss of a basketball legend and his daughter.
