Australia Records First Coronavirus Case After A Sick Man Arrived From Wuhan City
FIRST CORONAVIRUS CASE – The outbreak of the 2019 novel coronavirus in China has now reached Australia.
Sadly, several cases of the 2019 novel coronavirus in the different countries across the globe were recently recorded. The said disease was first recorded in Wuhan City in China which is now under an outbreak.
The coronavirus is reportedly characterized by flu-like symptoms including fever and cough. Its extent cannot be fully gauge yet but it has already resulted to several deaths.
In China, 41 people died due to coronavirus and more than 1,200 people are currently infected. Wuhay City is now under a lock down in the pursuit to curb the spread of the disease.
Also, flights and other transportation from Wuhan City are temporarily suspended now. However, several people have already flew from Wuhan to other countries before the outbreak sparked national concern.
In Japan, there are two (2) coronavirus cases confirmed. The same thing in France with the patients coming Wuhan City. The patients are now being treated.
There are speculations that the coronavirus came from a bat soup served in a market in Wuhan City. It is not yet proven but many are looking to its possibility.
Recently, another country has confirmed its first coronavirus case – the Australia. Based on a report on Rappler, the patient is a man from Wuhan who flew to Melbourne last week.
According to Australia’s Chief Medical Officer Professor Brendan Murphy, the sick man is now being isolated following “strict protocols”. He revealed that the patient is suffering from pneumonia but in a “stable condition”.
