Piolo Pascual formed his own recording company
Actor and singer Piolo Pascual formed his own recording company as he was breaking new ground in his almost three-decade career.
Piolo described the independent label, called Just Music, as a “space for artists to explore their creativity while keeping their rights a top priority”.
In a statement to ABS-CBN News, Piolo said that he wanted to give them a platform — a chance to shine on their own. Piolo also cited the struggle of new artists in finding a venue for their music talent.
“When you see a lot of artists who could potentially make a change in the scene, you want to give them that opportunity. There are a lot of new artists and so much talent that have to be exposed, but they need a platform,” Piolo said.

For starters, Piolo had taken in his wings upcoming singer-songwriters NKO and Kenji, who each had recently released their singles under the Just Music label. NKO’s retro dance-inspired tune “Langit” and Kenji’s ballad “Night and Day” were available on digital streaming platforms.
Both Kenji and NKO were part of Star Music’s G2B Boys in 2013 and one of their song performance credits was Jonathan Manalo’s “Ikaw Na Na Na Na” — the theme song of the “Got to Believe” series of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
Piolo’s label was a unit of CS Music, Cornerstone Entertainment’s music label for big mainstream names such as Jay R, Jason Dy, Kyla, Ian Pangilinan, Catriona Gray, and Richard Poon, among others.
Cornerstone also managed the careers of Kapamilya-associated artists Erik Santos, Angeline Quinto, Yeng Constantino, Sam Milby, Jaya, Moira Dela Torre, Iñigo Pascual, KZ Tandingan, Zephanie Dimaranan, and many others.
