Do you remember Kirby de Jesus, a former contestant in StarStruck Season 2?
Kirby de Jesus, a former contestant in Kapuso talent search StarStruck Season 2, is living this life now.
Born Kristian Bernardine De Jesus, Kirby dreamed of having a place under the showbiz spotlight during his teen years. That said show in the Kapuso network opened opportunities in the entertainment industry to Jennylyn Mercado and Mark Herras, along with their contemporaries in Season 1.
Following that, Kirby also had the chance to showcase his talent in StarStruck for its second season. However, he went controversial and lost the light of his star when he filed a harassment case against a person who was close to him, based on the article from PEP.
The former actor said during his showbiz comeback in 2008 that he knew his career will be affected by the case he filed. “Maimpluwensiya kasi siya. Alam ko naman po yun, talagang kaya nilang palubugin ang career ko. Tingin ko na po, ganyan ang nangyari, pero ewan ko rin. Hangga’t maaari, ayaw ko na sanang pag-usapan yun, kinalimutan ko na, nakipag-ayos na ako sa kanya dati, kaya ‘wag na lang po yun,” he shared during the time he was promoting his comeback project Paupahan.
He said, based on the article, that he just did the right thing to protect himself. A year after that, he transferred to Viva Artist Agency but he is still grateful to GMA that he was given an opportunity in showbiz.
Now that Kirby de Jesus has left the entertainment industry, he found a new life abroad. Based on a YouTube video, the former actor is now a managing director of Virgin store in Duba where he is currently living.
