OPPO was set to launch Reno 5 Pro+ 5G in China before Christmas.
OPPO officially confirmed that the company will launch its upcoming smartphone — the Reno 5 Pro+ 5G — in China a day before Christmas.
This, after OPPO launched it latest smartphone series, the Reno 5 5G and Reno 5 Pro 5G.
This smartphone would be the third Reno phone to arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series chipset since Reno Ace and Reno 5G that were both launched last year.
The Reno Ace had a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor, while the Reno 5G had a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor.
OPPO had recently released a poster showing what could be the physical look of its upcoming smartphone.
Based on the said poster, OPPO Reno 5 Pro+ 5G would be available in two color options — black and a color-shifting blue — with a luster-like finish.
The front part of the said smartphone — which wasn’t visible in the poster — was home to a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.

The Reno 5 Pro+ 5G would also maintain the lightweight and slim design of its other siblings, but its weight was at 184 grams.
The said phone — as seen in the poster — had four rear cameras wherein one of which was a periscope zoom lens.
Gizmochina reported that this smartphone would come with a Sony IMX766 50MP sensor as its main camera and would also have a 16MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera as well.
As per the report, other specs of the said phone that had been leaked were a 4500mAh battery and a support for 65W fast charging.
