#YouTubeDOWN — YouTube has confirmed that the platform was currently down as it seemed to be having issues when loading and watching videos as of this writing.
This, as YouTube posted an update on its official Twitter account, saying that the team was currently “working on a fix”.

The said issue appeared to affect other services that use the YouTube infrastructure too — including YouTube TV and TV shows and movies that netizens purchased through Google TV.
YouTube Music was also affected by the said issue. With this, the #YouTubeDOWN became one of the trending topics on Twitter as of the moment.
Meanwhile, DownDetector showed a truly tremendous number of user reports of problems with YouTube as the site indicated that the problem was widespread.
In the Philippines, DownDetector PH had recorded over 10,000 total reports for the last 24 hours. Of which, 95% have problems with watching videos, 3% have problem with the website, and 1% have a problem with uploading videos.
