352,391 Slots Up for Grabs in the March 2027 Career Service Exam; Here’s How to Apply
CIVIL SERVICE EXAM 2027 – Aspiring government workers can start securing their slots for the next Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) on Monday, November 2, 2026, when the Civil Service Commission (CSC) opens online registration at 8:00 a.m.
The exam, covering both the Professional and Subprofessional levels, is set for Sunday, March 14, 2027. The CSC has made 352,391 examination slots available in 98 testing centers nationwide.

Online registration opens on November 2, while personal appearance at CSC offices begins on November 3, but only for applicants who already secured a slot online. Filing continues until all slots are filled or until the CSC announces otherwise, so applicants are urged to apply early and to check slot availability with their preferred CSC Regional or Field Office.
In an announcement dated October 29, the CSC listed three ways to file, depending on the region. Applicants under CSC Regional Offices II, III, V, VI, VIII, IX, XI, NCR and BARMM will use CSC eServe (services.csc.gov.ph). Those in Regions I, IV, VII, X, XII and CAR will use the Online Civil Service Examination Application System, or OCSEAS (ocseas.csc.gov.ph). Applicants in Caraga will file through the Lingkod Bayani Kiosk and should contact CSC Caraga for details.
To qualify, an applicant must be a Filipino citizen, at least 18 years old on the date of filing, and of good moral character. He or she must not have been convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude, dishonesty or examination irregularity, nor dishonorably discharged from the military or dismissed for cause from government service.
Applicants must also not have taken the same exam level within three months before the test date, or from December 14, 2026 to March 13, 2027, and must not have already passed the same level. There is no educational requirement.
The requirements are a fully accomplished CS Form No. 100 (Revised 2023) printed on legal-size bond paper; four identical passport-size ID pictures taken within the last three months, showing a handwritten name tag with signature over printed full name; the original and a photocopy of a valid ID accepted by the CSC; and the ₱500 examination fee.
Passing the Professional level grants eligibility for first- and second-level government posts, while the Subprofessional level covers first-level positions. Another CSE-PPT is scheduled on August 8, 2027, with filing starting May 10, 2027.
