Ramon Christopher Reacts to Janine & Jericho’s Relationship
RAMON CHRISTOPHER – After months of public curiosity, Ramon Christopher has finally shared his thoughts on the man winning his daughter Janine Gutierrez’s heart.
Veteran actor Ramon Christopher has finally spoken out about the man romantically linked to his daughter, actress Janine Gutierrez. For the first time, Ramon shared his thoughts on Janine’s relationship with actor Jericho Rosales, a pairing that has steadily drawn public attention as it continues to grow stronger.
Janine and Jericho, fondly known as Echo, have been going strong, with many observers noting that their relationship appears serious and built to last. As the couple’s bond becomes more solid, curiosity has naturally extended to the people closest to them, particularly Janine’s family.
During a media interview with Ramon, also known as Monching, at the red-carpet premiere of his latest film, “Breaking the Silence,” on January 10, he was asked directly about Jericho being his daughter’s boyfriend. Ramon made it clear that his priority is Janine’s happiness above all else.
“Ako kasi basta happy siya, happy ako. Ganoon lang ako. Walang akong ‘okay si ganito,’ ‘okay si ganoon,’” said Monching.
The actor also shared that he and his family had just returned from a recent vacation together. “We went on holiday, the whole family,” he said, offering a glimpse into their close-knit family dynamic. When asked whether Jericho joined them on the trip, Ramon chose not to give a direct answer and stated, “Kumpleto kaming lahat.”
Despite avoiding specifics, Ramon had nothing but positive things to say about Jericho. He emphasized that he has no negative impressions of the actor and described him as a good person based on his own experience and the time they have spent together.
“Mabait naman si Echo. Wala akong masabing not good about him. Sa pagkakakilala ko sa kaniya at saka sa panahon na lagi din kaming magkasama.
“Very happy naman sila, happy ako,” said Monching.
Ramon’s remarks reflected quiet confidence and trust in his daughter’s choices, reinforcing his supportive stance toward their relationship. He also added that he is very open to the possibility of working with Jericho in the future, should an opportunity arise to collaborate on a project together.
With Ramon’s words, it’s clear that Janine has her father’s full support, so long as she is happy, he is happy too.
