After Decades of Waiting Onemig Bondoc Finally Confirms He’s Pursuing Aiko Melendez
ONEMIG BONDOC – Romance rumors surrounding Onemig Bondoc and Aiko Melendez have finally been addressed after weeks of online speculation.
Actor Onemig Bondoc has finally put an end to speculation surrounding his relationship with actress-politician Aiko Melendez, confirming that he is indeed courting her, though his efforts have yet to receive a definite answer.
The confirmation came during a recent joint TikTok live of Aiko and Onemig, where curious netizens directly asked if the two were already in a relationship. Aiko was quick to clarify the situation, responding with a firm, “Hindi.” Onemig, meanwhile, candidly expressed his feelings, saying, “I wish. Pero hindi niya pa ko sinasagot, e.”
Despite the lack of an official label, the two have been spending time together, as seen in an Instagram post shared by Onemig on Saturday, January 10. The actor uploaded a photo of himself with Aiko, accompanied by a nostalgic caption that read, “Happy together….after 29 yrs.” The post quickly drew attention from fans and followers, many of whom expressed support for the pair.
Even Aiko’s daughter, Marthena, showed her approval by leaving a sweet comment on the post, saying, “Awwww.” Onemig replied warmly, writing, “[H]i mimi! Enjoy your time with your dad:).”
According to Onemig, his affection for Aiko is not something new. He revealed that he has been waiting for over two decades for his feelings to be reciprocated, a revelation that touched many netizens who followed their story.
The topic of Onemig’s earlier, unsuccessful attempt to court Aiko resurfaced when he appeared as a guest on an episode of her vlog in December 2025. During the vlog, Onemig recalled an incident when they supposedly agreed to meet in Subic, but the plan fell through. He shared, “I was waiting for three hours and my friends didn’t know that I was waiting for someone. So hindi sumipot, so, I guess basted ako.”
Aiko later admitted her part in the missed meeting, saying, “Ako ‘yong hindi sumipot.” She then added lightheartedly, “Bahala na kayo, sige na cheers tayo, sisiputin na kita sa Quezon City.”
For now, while Onemig’s feelings are clear, Aiko’s answer remains something fans will continue to watch closely.
