First Major Kissing Scene Leaves Zaijan Jaranilla Shocked & Struggling
ZAIJAN JARANILLA – Kapamilya star Zaijan Jaranilla admitted that one particular moment with Jane Oineza turned out to be the most challenging of his career.
Kapamilya actor Zaijan Jaranilla has opened up about one of the biggest challenges he faced during his transition from child star to a more mature actor. In a recent episode of PUSH Bets, the young star revealed that filming his kissing scene with actress Jane Oineza in their upcoming movie Si Sol at Si Luna pushed him far beyond his comfort zone.
Zaijan shared that stepping into mature roles was something he always knew would eventually come, but actually doing it was an entirely different experience. Recalling the moment, the actor admitted that the scene with Jane Oineza was the toughest part of the project.
“Siguro ‘yong first kissing scene ko,” natatawang lahad ni Zaijan. “Which is ‘yong ‘Sol at si Luna’ nga po with Ate Jane. ‘Yon ‘yong pinakamahirap.”
He explained that despite mentally preparing himself for the shift toward more adult roles, nothing could fully prepare him for the moment they had to film the scene.
“Alam ko rin naman na darating ako sa gano’ng punta. Pero iba ‘pag nando’n ka na. Iba ‘yong pakiramdam. Lalo na pag i-execute n’yo na ‘yong eksena.”
Zaijan even described the experience as similar to taking a leap of faith.
“Ang ginawa ko na lang no’n ‘yong tipong parang tumalon ka sa eroplano na walang atrasan. ‘Sige, game na ‘to.'”
Despite the initial difficulty, the young actor said he felt a genuine sense of fulfillment afterward, proud that he was able to rise to the challenge.
“Worth it siya. May pupuntahan din pala,” the actor said.
The kissing scene had already become a hot topic among fans months earlier, when a major supermarket chain released the official trailer for Si Sol at Si Luna. The brief yet emotionally charged scene stirred conversations online, with viewers eager to see the film’s full context.
