Pres. Bongbong Marcos Breaks Silence on Sister Imee’s Illegal Drug Use Allegations
BONGBONG MARCOS – The President broke his silence on the allegations of his sister, Senator Imee Marcos, that he is allegedly using illegal drugs.
Amid the corruption allegations against her brother, Sen. Imee Marcos recently accused PBBM of allegedly using illegal drugs. She made the accusations in front of thousands of members of Iglesia ni Cristo during a rally. It earned different reactions from the people.

Undeniably, the claims of Sen. Marcos ignited the call of some Filipinos for Pres. Bongbong Marcos to resign. The Palace was quick to clarify that resignation is not an option for Marcos Jr. and his administration. According to Malacañang press officer undersecretary Claire Castro, the President continues to work.

Sen. Imee Marcos called on her brother to go home and undergo treatment. According to her, not only the President is allegedly into using illegal drugs but as well as First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos. She called on the First Family to disprove her claims through a hair follicle drug test.
According to Malacañang on the illegal drug use accusations of Sen. Imee Marcos against Pres. Bongbong Marcos, the presidential sister allegedly wants her brother out for her so-called “Team Itim”. Atty. Claire Castro also slammed Sen. Marcos for supposedly protecting a vice president with corruption issues.

Recently, Pres. Bongbong Marcos broke his silence on the accusation of Sen. Imee Marcos against him that he is allegedly using illegal drugs. The Chief Executive admitted that he does not like discussing family mattes in public.
”It’s anathema to talk about family matters generally in public. I do not like… we do not like to show our dirty linen in public,” Marcos Jr. said.

Furthermore, based on a post of Inquirer on social media, Pres. Bongbong Marcos also claimed that their family and their friends are worried about Sen. Imee Marcos. According to him, the lady that the people see on television is not her sister as she is allegedly not like that.
”So, I’ll just say this much… For a while now, we’ve been very worried about my sister. When I say we, I’m talking about friends and family, and the reason that is is because the lady you see talking on TV is not my sister. That view is shared by our cousins, friends… hindi siya ‘yan,” the President expressed.
Marcos Jr. expressed his hope that the Senator “feels better soon”. Previously, presidential son and Ilocos Norte Congressman Sandro Marcos reacted to the claim of his aunt, Sen. Imee Marcos, against their family.
