What Shuvee Etrata Learned Inside Kuya’s House
SHUVEE ETRATA – Internet personality Shuvee Etrata revealed that she discovered her ability to love while staying inside the Pinoy Big Brother house.
Shuvee Etrata had a heartfelt realization during her time in the Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition. Known as the “Island Ate ng Cebu,” Shuvee opened up about her emotional growth while speaking to Boy Abunda on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Thursday, June 26, alongside her duo Klarisse De Guzman.
In the interview, Shuvee shared a significant personal discovery. “Kaya ko po pala magmahal,” she said. “With all the trauma that I’ve experienced, Tito Boy, parang naramdaman ko po na mataas ‘yung walls ko.”
Being inside the PBB house allowed Shuvee to lower those emotional barriers. She revealed that she learned to compromise, empathize, and connect with her fellow housemates—skills she didn’t expect to master, especially when it came to opening her heart. She also learned how to accept love, a step forward for someone who once felt guarded due to past trauma.
Boy Abunda also asked the young actress about her love life. Viewers may recall that Sparkle artist Anthony Constantino personally picked up Shuvee and Klarisse after their eviction from the PBB house. It turns out that Anthony had already been courting Shuvee even before she entered the reality show.
Curious about their status now that the show has ended, Boy asked, “Pero ngayon na nakalabas na kayo ng bahay, deretsahang tanong, kayo na ba o hindi?”
Shuvee answered honestly, “Hindi pa po.”
When further asked to rate their status on a scale of one to ten, she replied, “Siguro mga seven, six. Sige, seven. I’m really grateful for him, Tito Boy. [He’s] super nice, super nice. He was there before nag-PBB po ako.”
Finally, when Boy asked if Anthony had already said “I love you,” Shuvee admitted that he hadn’t, adding that it’s still too early for that. Her openness signals a journey of healing—and perhaps, a blossoming romance on the horizon.
