Michelle Dee reflected on her reign as Miss World Philippines 2019.
Miss World Philippines 2019 Michelle Dee on Monday recently reflected on her reign as Miss World Philippines during the pandemic.
According to her, she felt disappointed to have all her plans “take a back seat” because of the threat of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Michelle told her fans during a Kapuso Brigade ZOOMustahan session that she had a lot of plans for her advocacy as they would have built chapters in other parts of the country that they probably couldn’t do at the moment.
She also said that they also had projects with some brands that were on hold in which she’s sad about.
However, she added, she did what she could as she would use her platform in order to raise awareness to certain causes throughout this quarantine.
Michelle mentioned that she’s also working with World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and other advocacies in order to really help awareness “to help get help” to the hands of those who needed it.

When asked about her plans in the remaining months the beauty queen has left as the titleholder, Michelle was positive that she would continue her plans even without the crown.
According to her, she should be proud to say that she’s the first queen with two years in her bag.
However, she added, as she had said that even before she won as Miss World Philippines, a true beauty queen by heart was measured by the good things that they could do after her reign.
Michelle also said that it shouldn’t be limited within her reign because she’s advocating for the things she believed in, adding that it should be until after her reign, she’s still working on what she caused.
“So for me, ‘yung mga wino-work on ko now you can expect na gagawin ko pa rin afterward“, Michelle said.
Aside from this, she revealed that she was about to release her book about her post-Miss World Philippines reign.
