Erwin Tulfo Visits Mother’s Grave w/ Certificate of Proclamation: “I made it Mom”

ACT-CIS Rep. Erwin Tulfo Proclaimed Senator

ERWIN TULFO – The newly-elected Senator visited the grave of his late mother with his Certificate of Proclamation.

The Commission of Elections (COMELEC) has officially proclaimed the winning senators in the 2025 Midterm Elections. Six (6) candidates from the Alyansa Para Sa Pagbabago endorsed by President Bongbong Marcos won in the 2025 Elections.

Now-Senator Erwin Tulfo is one of the winning senatorial candidates from the Alyansa. He ranked 4th in the senatorial race after getting 17,118,881 votes. Last Saturday, Tulfo personally graced the proclamation of the winning senators.

Aside from the ACT-CIS Representative, his brother, Ben Bitag Tulfo, also ran in the 2025 Senatorial Elections but failed to get into the Top 12. He ranked 13th in the senatorial race with 12,053,096 votes. Here are the winning senators in the 2025 Elections:

  • Lapid, Lito — 13,394,102 votes
  • Marcos, Imee — 13,339,227 votes

A day after he was proclaimed as senator, newly-elected Sen. Erwin Tulfo visited the grave of his late mother, Caridad Teresita Tulfo. He brought along with him is Certificate of Proclamation. He shed tears at the grave of his late mother whom he thanked for her prayers.

Sen. Erwin Tulfo will join his brother, Sen. Raffy Tulfo, in the Senate. They are among the public officials coming from the same family amid the issue of increasing extent of political dynasty in the Philippine politics.

Previously, amid his looming victory, Sen. Erwin Tulfo vowed to support the anti-political dynasty bill and even said he will resign from his position if it will be passed into law.
