BONG REVILLA – Actor-politician Bong Revilla’s reaction to Senate defeat goes viral as netizens praised his calm and heartfelt message of unity.
Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. has publicly accepted his defeat in the 2025 senatorial elections with grace and gratitude. In a Facebook Live video on May 15, Revilla addressed his supporters from his farm, saying, “Okay naman po ako. Ganu’n talaga,” while extending congratulations to his fellow candidates who are leading the partial and unofficial vote count.
Among those he acknowledged were incumbent senators Bato dela Rosa, Bong Go, Imee Marcos, Lito Lapid, and Pia Cayetano, as well as returning and new names like Bam Aquino, Erwin Tulfo, Kiko Pangilinan, Ping Lacson, Rodante Marcoleta, Tito Sotto, and Camille Villar.

Despite the loss, Revilla expressed heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported his campaign. “Bagamat tayo’y hindi pinalad, okay lang po ’yun. Ang importante po ngayon ay magkaisa para sa bayan,” he said, urging Filipinos to focus on solving the country’s real problems through unity.
The actor-politician emphasized that he harbored no resentment, expressing peace with the outcome. “Kung ano man po ang nangyari e tanggap natin ’yan. Ang importante ay masaya tayo. Tama na ’yung gibaan, let’s move forward para sa bayan,” he added. Revilla encouraged the public to listen to the voice of the people and to always love the Philippines.
He also shared a personal reflection, hinting that this new chapter might be God’s way of giving him more time with his family, especially with his grandson.

Revilla’s son, Jolo Revilla, who serves as Cavite’s first district representative, echoed his father’s sentiments. In a Facebook post, he thanked those who supported Bong during the campaign and emphasized the importance of faith and continued service to the country.
“Sadyang may panahon para sa lahat… gagamitin natin ang panahong ito para mas palalimin pa ang ating pananampalataya,” Jolo wrote, expressing hope that the public’s love for his father remains strong as they move forward with their mission to serve.
