Alden Richards Enters Aviation School for Pilot Training
ALDEN RICHARDS – Kapuso actor Alden Richards takes a bold new step toward his dreams as he officially enrolls in an aviation school to pursue becoming a pilot.
Alden Richards seems unstoppable when it comes to exploring new interests! Aside from his successful career as Asia’s Multimedia Star, the actor is now busy pursuing new hobbies and passions. These include being active in fitness activities like cycling and running, as well as venturing into gaming and producing through his own multimedia company, Myriad Corporation.
Now, Alden is fulfilling a long-time dream—to become a pilot.
Recently, the actor shared that he received a scholarship offer from an aviation school. Just recently, he visited Alpha Aviation Group located at Clark Freeport Zone in Mabalacat, Pampanga. During his visit, he checked out the school’s facilities, including the flight simulation training pod where students can experience the feeling of flying inside an actual aircraft cockpit.
“Reaching new heights, one flight at a time. ✈️,” Alden wrote in the caption of his social media post.
Joining Alden on this special visit was his father, Richard Faulkerson Sr., who once also dreamed of becoming a pilot. In an interview, Alden shared the inspiration behind this new journey: “It has been my dad’s dream also. Personal dream niya to be a pilot. So, sabi ko, ‘Sige, Dad, since 59 ka na, ako na lang.’ Hopefully, kung kaya, this year matapos ko ‘yung course. Then, lipad-lipad na tayo.”
Daddy Bae also posted a video showing Alden’s first try on the flight simulator, with the caption, “Our Future Pilot.”
It looks like Alden is serious about reaching new heights and achieving fresh dreams—and his fans are excited to see him take flight—literally—in the coming months!
