Medical Prognosis of Pope Francis Remains “Guarded”

POPE FRANCIS – The condition of the Roman Pontiff requires him to be placed back under a non-invasive medical ventilation following respiratory crises.

There has been an outpour of prayers across the globe for the recovery of the Pope for more than two (2) weeks now. He remains to fight for his life in Gemelli hospital in Rome, Italy where his pneumonia is being treated.

Based on the post, the recent episodes of breathing crises were due to the significant accumulation of endobronchial mucus. The Pope also suffered from consequent bronchospasm.

“Two bronchoscopies were therefore performed, with the need to remove large secretions,” the post stated.

Based on the update, Pope Francis had to be placed back under a non-invasive medical ventilation which was previously removed amid an improving condition. Meanwhile, the Sovereign Pontiff remains “alert, oriented and cooperation at all times”.

Regarding the prognosis of the Pope, it remains “guarded”. It has been the prognosis of the Roman Pontiff even amid the slight improvements noted in his condition before due to the complex picture that his condition is showing. More updates may be posted soon.

Pope Francis previously told two (2) people close to him that he might not make it this time. The Roman Pontiff had a few hospitalization records since he assumed the papacy but this one is one of the longest and keeps on showing complex pictures of the Pope’s condition.

Vatican has started the wake and funeral preparations for the Pope in case of his death as per reports. The Roman Pontiff has previously said he’s burial site is ready. Previously, two (2) officials of Vatican claimed that Pope Francis had a conflict with the cardinals over finances prior to his hospitalization.
