KATHERINE LUNA – Former actress Katherine Luna finally speaks out about the child that Coco Martin had DNA-tested, revealing new details about their past.
For the first time, former actress Katherine Luna has broken her silence regarding the longstanding rumors about her daughter Nicole’s paternity. In an interview on the Julius Babao UNPLUGGED YouTube channel, Katherine addressed the speculation that Nicole was fathered by her former partner, actor Coco Martin.
During the interview, Katherine clarified that she never sought financial support from Coco when she gave birth to Nicole. However, as her daughter grew older, she started to notice that Nicole did not resemble the popular actor. This realization led her to reconsider the situation, especially after a DNA test later confirmed that Coco was not the biological father.
Katherine admitted that she initially chose to distance herself from the issue because she was unsure how to handle the fallout from the widely spread reports. She expressed that the situation put her in a difficult position, leading her to stay silent for years.
Adding to the controversy, Katherine shared that there was an instance when Coco took Nicole without her knowledge. At the time, the child was in the care of Katherine’s mother, and this incident caused a strain in their relationship. The actress felt deeply hurt and betrayed by the situation, which further complicated her emotions surrounding the issue.
Despite the rumors, Katherine maintained that she never intended to exploit Coco or seek financial assistance from him. She explained that her decision to step away was driven by embarrassment and uncertainty over how to clarify the situation after it had already made headlines.
As of now, Nicole has yet to meet her biological father. Katherine revealed that her daughter’s real father is a Chinese businessman, who is now married to an actress. While she did not disclose further details about his identity, she emphasized that he is not part of the entertainment industry.
Katherine and Coco first met while working on an indie film, which marked the beginning of their relationship. Although their past relationship was once a topic of public interest, Katherine now hopes to move forward and focus on her daughter’s well-being, leaving the past behind.
