EA Guzman & Shaira Diaz Reveals Reason Behind Their Early Wedding
EA GUZMAN – Fans were surprised when EA Guzman and Shaira Diaz decided to tied the knot earlier than expected—what could be the reason behind their sudden wedding?
Love is definitely in the air for celebrity couple EA Guzman and Shaira Diaz. Initially planning to tie the knot in 2026, the couple has decided to move their wedding up to August 2025. But what led to this sudden change of plans?
During their last Valentine’s Day as boyfriend and girlfriend, EA surprised Shaira on the morning show Unang Hirit, making the occasion extra special. This month is even more meaningful for the couple as they also celebrate their 12th anniversary together.
When asked about the secret to their long-lasting relationship, EA emphasized the importance of making an effort to keep the spark alive. “Para sa akin, kahit gaano na kayo katagal, dapat sa side ng lalaki, dapat nag-e-effort ka pa rin ilabas ‘yung babae kahit gaano kayo ka-busy sa trabaho niyo, dapat you find time.”
“Kahit one day lang sa isang linggo, and make it special, sobrang laking bagay na sa babae.”
For more than a decade, EA has been consistently sending flowers to Shaira every Valentine’s Day. This year, however, they decided to take a more spontaneous approach to their celebration, given how busy they are with wedding preparations. “Parehas kasi kaming naging busy, so ngayon kami talaga nagpa-plan, ngayong Valentine’s na ‘to, we want to be spontaneous na lang, kung ano na lang maisipan namin,” Shaira said. ”Okay, ito ‘yung last, pero kung magkasama naman kami, ‘yun ‘yung mahalaga.”
Originally set for 2026, the couple’s wedding is now happening in August 2025. EA playfully joked, “Feeling ko si Shaira talaga, hindi na rin talaga makapaghintay na pakasalan ako,” But in reality, the decision came from Shaira herself. “Parang ako na rin ‘yung natagalan, parang gusto ko ng mapunta sa next level ‘yung relasyon namin kasi pa-30 na rin ako, parang sakto, 30 na rin ako next year,” she explained.
“So, gusto ko na magpakasal, gusto ko na magka-baby, para may bago sa buhay. Doon rin naman tayo papunta, why not paagahin na lang?” she added.
With their love stronger than ever, EA and Shaira are looking forward to a new chapter in their lives, proving that when it comes to love, timing is everything.
