While Boy Abunda Questioned Maris Racal’s Statement, the King of Talk Liked Anthony Jennings’ Apology Message
BOY ABUNDA – The King of Talk expressed admiration on the statement of controversial actor Anthony Jennings over the issue with Maris Racal.
Countless people have reacted to the issue involving Maris Racal, Anthony Jennings, and his now ex-girlfriend, Jamela Villanueva. It ignited after Anthony’s ex-girlfriend posted his private conversations with Maris.
Many people bashed Anthony and Maris. The screenshots posted by Jam made it appear like things really went beyond professional work and dealings between the two (2) celebrities. She also claimed that he lied when he was actually with the actress.
Jamela Villanueva also claimed that Anthony Jennings vowed to stop what was happening between him and Maris Racal but it allegedly did not happen. According to her, she really tried to support and understand the “method acting” wherein her then-boyfriend has to make Maris feel loved and cared for — for the sake of the career of the two (2) celebrities.
Maris Racal broke her silence amid the issue and bashing. She apologized to everyone most especially to her fans and supporters who were disappointed. In her apology video, the actress could be seen being emotional as she stressed that it was supposed to be a private conversation and was exposed without her consent.
Maris claimed she thought that Anthony Jennings was single as he allegedly claimed to be. According to the young actress, that is why she was comfortable to act a certain way around the actor because he was telling the people close to her that he’s single. She believed that they were both single in the eyes of the people at the set.
However, while Boy Abunda expressed comfort for Maris Racal, the King of Talk, like countless netizens, was left with a question — why the actress asked Anthony Jennings if they could delete messages. He also stressed the part of the conversation wherein it stated that someday they do not have to hide anymore.
After Maris Racal broke her silence on the issue, Anthony Jennings also broke his silence on the issue with Maris and Jam. Contrary to the statement of his loveteam partner, the actor had a very short message. He apologized for everything most especially to the two (2) women involved in the issue.
While many people criticized Anthony Jennings for that very short statement amid everything that happened, Boy Abunda admired the statement of the actor. On an episode of Fast Talk, the King of Talk expressed his praises on the 22-second message of Anthony saying that it prevented him from mistakes.
“I just want to say that I like the statement, gustong gusto ko yung statement ni Anthony Jennings… End of story. Less talk, less mistake ika nga,” he said.
According to Boy, it was the best that Anthony can do as the public already knew everything. Amid the issue, Anthony Jennings’ declaration two years ago that he would never cheat again resurfaced.
