According to Sen. Dela Rosa, former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte is more comfortable in the Senate than in the House of Representatives. However, the statement of the Senator announcing his pursuit for a drug war probe earned negative reactions from the netizens.

Former Sen. Leila de Lima also stressed that Dela Rosa is one of the accused if he will be among those who will question in the inquiry. Another close ally of the former President, Sen. Bong Go, recently filed a Senate resolution seeking for a drug war probe.

Senate President Chiz Escudero has confirmed the investigation of the Duterte drug war in the upper chamber. It will be spearheaded by the Blue Ribbon Committee and Sen. Koko Pimentel is set to preside the inquiry.
