Billy Crawford’s Dad Died, Coleen Garcia Pens Heartfelt Tribute
COLEEN GARCIA – The actress mourns the death of Jack Crawford or her “DaddyC”, the father of her husband, Billy Crawford.
In the Philippine showbiz industry, among the celebrities who found the love of their life in the same field are Billy and Coleen. Collectively called “BiCol” by their fans and supporters, the celebrity couple’s romantic relationship started in the ABS-CBN noontime variety show It’s Showtime.
Both Billy and Coleen are former hosts of Showtime. The madlang pipol was a witness to how their love story evolved from being teased on screen into becoming real-life lovers. It was in 2018 when the celebrity couple officially tied the knot.
In 2020, Coleen Garcia gave birth to her first-born son with Billy Crawford. The celebrity couple named their son, Amari. He recently celebrated his 4th birthday.
Sadly, just more than a week since Amari turned four (4) years old, Billy Crawford’s father passed away. Jack Crawford resides in Texas, United States.
In his announcement regarding his father’s death, Billy apologized to his father for being away from him when he died. He said sorry to his late dad for not being there and not being able to give him a last hug and tell him how much he loves him.
Billy Crawford and his family is living in the Philippines although he usually flies abroad for work. Recently, his wife, Coleen Garcia, penned a heartfelt tribute for her late father-in-law.
In her social media post, Coleen told her “DaddyC” that she will miss him. She stated that he can rest now and there is no more pain.
“We love you, and you will be in our hearts forever,” the actress stated.
Coleen Garcia also stated in her post that Jack Crawford remained “strong, jolly, and quick-witted” even on his last days. She stressed that it is how they will remember her late father-in-law.
In her Instagram post, Coleen also expressed her gratitude to God for the long and meaningful life of Billy’s dad. According to the actress, they prayed that her DaddyC will make it to their wedding but they were given more as he was able to meet and make memories with Amari.
