David Licauco: “Seloso ako in a way pero I don’t really say it na parang, ‘Oy, nagseselos ako ah’. I’ll just keep it to myself.”
DAVID LICAUCO — The “Pambansang Ginoo” recently admitted that he is the “seloso” type of boyfriend when he gets into a relationship.
The actor is one of the stars in the upcoming special limited series “Maging Sino Ka Man” alongside actress Barbie Forteza. Also, David and Barbie have an upcoming movie titled “That Kind of Love”.
David appeared on Tuesday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” where he was asked if he has his own version of Jak Roberto’s “anti-silos” class.
If Jak Roberto has “Jak Roberto University (JRU)”, David told Boy Abunda that he has “David Licauco Seloso University (DLSU)”.
Although the actor admitted that he’s the jealous type of boyfriend, he told the King of Talk that how he shows his jealousy depends on the context of the situation. He added that he’s not the type of police what his girlfriend is wearing.
“Kung lalabas naman talaga ‘yung girlfriend mo with her friends, siyempre kailangan mong intindihin ‘yun,” David said. “Okay lang ‘yun, pero minsan kasi may mga guys na iba ‘yung pakay. As a guy, alam ko kung ano ‘yung lalaking puwede mong pagkatiwalaan at hindi mo pagkatiwalaan.“
In the same interview, David was asked if he and Barbie talked about Jak Roberto. The actor shared that he sometimes talks to Barbie about Jak’s reactions to trending posts and tweets on social media, especially the “anti-silos” stint.
But the actor told the King of Talk that he and the actress just laugh about it because they are all just entertainers at the end of the day, adding that they’re so happy to entertain.
David Licauco is one half of the popular “BarDa” love team with Barbie Forteza. Barbie and David pairing became popular when the two played Binibining Klay and Ginoong Fidel, respectively, in “Maria Clara at Ibarra”.
It can be recalled that Jak Roberto appeared on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” where he opened up about being an unbothered boyfriend of Barbie Forteza. Jak also shared something about his “anti-silos” class at that time.
