As 2026 begins, Xian Lim took a moment to reflect on the experiences that have shaped him over the past year, sharing thoughtful insights on life, gratitude, and personal growth. The actor marked the start of the new year by posting a photo dump on Instagram that captured highlights from each month of 2025, offering fans a glimpse into what he described as a meaningful and eventful journey.
The photos showcased an adventurous year filled with acting projects, hosting and directing engagements, travels, moments with family and friends, and milestones in his private pilot journey. Alongside the images, Xian greeted his followers warmly, writing, “Happy New Year, everyone,” before explaining, “I know this recap is a bit late, but I took a little time to put together the moments I’d like to share from the past year. What a journey for all of us.”
In his caption, Xian reflected on how fast-paced life has become, noting that people often forget to slow down and appreciate the present. He shared that many are so focused on chasing goals that gratitude sometimes takes a back seat. “Parang lagi na lang tayong nagha-habol ng deadlines, promotion, certifications, the next big thing na para bang dapat may grandiose moment para lang mag celebrate,” he explained.
He went on to acknowledge his own shortcomings in this area, adding, “But isn’t every day a celebration for being alive? Minsan talaga, I’m guilty for this na nakakalimutan ko to just stay still, be present, be in the moment, and take in the beautiful things happening around me.” Despite this, Xian expressed heartfelt appreciation to everyone he shared “beautiful moments and conversations” with throughout the year.
Looking ahead, Xian shared his intentions for the year ahead. “This 2026, all I wish for is to become a better version of myself. To be a student of life. To keep learning new things, push myself to grow, and do more things out of my comfort zone,” he said. He also acknowledged life’s unpredictability, stating, “Life may not always go according to plan. Maraming ups and downs, maraming hindi inaasahan, mapanakit, unjustifiable…but naniniwala ako that we are exactly where we need to be,” before ending with, “Here’s to living life to the fullest! Happy 2026, everyone!”
Among his notable achievements in 2025 was becoming an official private pilot. Building on this milestone, Xian shared that he is now aiming to obtain his Commercial Pilot License (CPL) in 2026. His aviation journey began gaining public attention after he completed his first solo flight in November 2024, and since then, he has continued to share updates from his pilot-in-training experience with fans on social media.
