“Maldita pala talaga!” Janus del Prado Claims FB Page Was Mass-Reported After Online Feud

Janus del Prado Loses Facebook Monetization, Points Finger at ‘Newlywed’

JANUS DEL PRADO – Actor Janus del Prado sparked online buzz after revealing that his Facebook page monetization was suddenly put on hold following alleged mass reporting.

Actor Janus del Prado recently took to social media to air his frustration after discovering that the monetization of his Facebook page had been placed on hold. According to the actor, the sudden setback happened after his account was allegedly subjected to a coordinated mass reporting by online users, effectively cutting off what he described as an important source of extra income.

Known for his witty, sarcastic, and sometimes biting humor online, Janus did not hide his disappointment over the situation. He claimed that the reporting was not random and pointed to a specific individual he believes was behind the incident. In a series of now-deleted posts, the actor referred to a “malditang bagong kasal” whom he accused of instigating the reports that led to his page’s monetization being suspended.

“Maldita pala talaga tong si bagong kasal. Pina mass report yung page ko ngayon nakahold ang monetization,” Janus wrote in one post. He followed this with a message directed at the woman’s husband, saying, “To your new husband. Ingat ka dyan sa napili mo. Remember that she dragged all her exes name into the mud. Wag na wag kang magkakamali.” Janus even mocked the situation further by questioning whether the reaction was an overreaction and sarcastically hoping that the marriage would last at least six months.

Although he did not name anyone directly, netizens were quick to speculate that his remarks were aimed at actress Carla Abellana. The speculation stemmed from a recent public exchange between the two that began when Janus joked about Carla’s unconventional wedding cake from her wedding to Dr. Reginald Santos. At the time, Janus quipped, “Cake! Ba’t mo kami iniwan! Huhu! Sisiw na lang kulang. Yung CAKE ang inorder mo pero WAKE ang ibinigay,” drawing mixed reactions online.

Carla later defended her choice, stressing that the cake was delicious, edible, and appreciated by their guests, adding that what mattered most was that she and her husband loved it. Following the exchange, Janus reportedly received backlash from fans, which he believes escalated into mass reporting.

Eventually, Janus chose to delete his heated posts and move on. He downplayed the controversy, joked that he should stick to safer “knock-knock” jokes, and ended by advising followers not to joke with people who do not share the same sense of humor.
