Shocking Claims Surface About Jennylyn Mercado & Dennis Trillo’s Family
JENNYLYN MERCADO – Speculation is swirling online after fresh claims surfaced about Jennylyn Mercado’s alleged strained relationship with the family of her husband, Dennis Trillo.
Rumors surrounding the relationship between Jennylyn Mercado and her in-laws have recently stirred discussion online after showbiz insider Ogie Diaz brought the issue to light on his YouTube channel with Mama Loi, joined by Dyosa Pockoh, Tamerlane Mopa, and Oliver Carnay.
The issue centers on claims that Jennylyn is allegedly not on good terms with the family of her husband, Dennis Trillo, and that she may even be stopping him from visiting them. According to Ogie, the information came from a source who specifically asked that their name not be mentioned to Jennylyn.

Ogie raised the issue by saying, “Pangalawa na itong nagsabi. Gusto ko na lang tanungin kung gaano katotoo na si Jennylyn Mercado ay hindi sa kanya okay ang kanyang in-laws or ‘yung family ni Dennis Trillo?” This immediately surprised Mama Loi, who reacted, “Ha? Ang tagal na nilang magkasama (mag-asawa)?”
Ogie then shared further details, stating, “Yes four years na hindi naman daw nagpapakita o nagpaparamdam itong si Jennylyn sa family ni Dennis. Dumating ang Pasko, ang Bagong Taon at no show daw.” He added that Jennylyn allegedly does not allow Dennis to visit his family, something he initially ignored until he received a private message.
Ogie proceeded to read the message in full, which claimed that Dennis had not seen his sisters for four years due to Jennylyn’s alleged strained relationship with them. The message also stated, “She has not greeted her mother and father in-law even during Christmas and birthdays,” and added concerns about Dennis’ elderly parents, emphasizing that “Dennis supports his parents though, financially. He has been a good son until he married Jennylyn.”

The sender also pointed out that Jennylyn does not appear in any Facebook posts of her father-in-law, fueling speculation further. It was mentioned that Dennis’ parents live in their old house in Taytay, Rizal, which he continues to support financially. The message also noted that Dennis’ father was recently hospitalized, and the actor was only able to send a video greeting with their child, Dylan Jayde.
Ogie also read claims that Dennis once invited his family for lunch in 2025, but allegedly asked his sisters not to come because Jennylyn did not want to see them. Reflecting on the situation, Ogie said, “In fairness kay Dennis ay pinipilit nitong balansehin lahat.”
Ogie agreed, saying he also wants to hear Jennylyn’s side to better understand the truth behind the allegations.
