Amid the PH Gov’t Issue, Harry Roque Reacts To Meet Up of Young, Vocal House Members
HARRY ROQUE – Duterte’s former Spokesman spoke about Batangas 1st District Representative Leandro Leviste, Cavite 4th District Rep. Kiko Barzaga, and Kamanggagawa Party-list Rep. Eli San Fernando.
Amid the several issues in the Philippine government, some young House members hooked public attention for being vocal. Cavite 4th District Rep. Kiko Barzaga called for the resignation of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. amid the flood control mess in the country.
Barzaga also previously claimed that he will allegedly file an impeachment complaint against Marcos Jr. He launched several social media posts against the President and the Marcos Jr. administration and it called the attention of the House of Representatives.
The House suspended Barzaga for 60 days over his alleged “disorderly behavior”. He supposedly violated the Breaching Section 141(a), Rule 20 of the House Rules and Republic Act No. 6713 (Code of Conduct for Public Officials). However, for former presidential spokesman Harry Roque, he sees things differently.
Harry Roque even previously claimed that Cong. Kiko Barzaga allegedly deserves not a suspension but to be the House Speaker. The former spokesman of ex-Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte is also calling for the resignation of Pres. Bongbong Marcos.
Recently, another young congressman hooked the national attention — Batangas Rep. Leandro Legarda Leviste. He is the son of Senator Loren Legarda and he caught public attention when he claimed that he allegedly has the files of former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Undersecretary Maria Catalina Cabral.
Cabral was one of the government officials who were tagged in the flood control mess. However, last December 18, 2025, she was found unconscious and unresponsive due to an alleged fall from a cliff in Benguet. Her death is a mystery to countless Filipinos but her family believes that it is “accidental”.
Recently, on social media, Batangas Rep. Leandro Leviste claimed that Cavite Rep. Kiko Barzaga and Kamanggagawa Party-list Rep. Eli San Fernando allegedly have the list of the flood control project insertions, too. He posted a photo of him together with his two (2) fellow House members.
Harry Roque reacted to the meet up of Leviste, Barzaga, and San Fernando. Through a post on social media, he called them as the three (3) handsome members of the House who allegedly have the Cabral files.
“Happy three kings! Ang tatlong makisig sa Kamara na may mga kopya ng Cabral files! Mabuhay!” Duterte’s former Spokesman stated.
