At Christmas Get-Together, Marcos Jr. Reminds OP Staff to Remain Focused
MARCOS JR. – The President expressed his gratitude to the staff of the Office of the President at a Christmas event.
There are several December holidays in the Philippines. The country is one of the nations with the longest Christmas celebrations. Prior to the last month of the year setting in, Pres. Bongbong Marcos already called on the government agencies to hold simple Christmas and year-end celebrations following a series of calamities hitting the country.

Marcos Jr. wants the government agencies and offices to avoid lavish Christmas and year-end celebrations as empathy to those who are still recovering from the impacts of the calamity. Recently, the President attended a Christmas event with the staff of the Office of the President.

At the Christmas event, Pres. Ferdinand Marcos Jr. expressed his gratitude to all the staff of the Office of the President for the work they put in. According to him, he is happy that he has the event which he tagged as an opportunity to express his thanks to all the OP staff.
“I am happy that we have this tradition of coming to be with you especially during Christmas time. It gives me an opportunity to thank you all for the very hard and good work that you have put in throughout the year. Maraming-maraming salamat,” the President said.
In his speech, Marcos Jr. recognized the “political noise” in the country now. The President called on the staff of his office to maintain their focus as he stressed that they are allegedly doing the right thing and what is supposedly needed in the country now.
“It is very, very important that we stay focused. I know that there’s a great deal of political noise going on. I know that we have actually been very effective disruptors of the old guard. That is something that we will just have to weather because what we are doing is correct, what we are doing is right,” he said.

Moreover, Pres. Bongbong Marcos also said that what the Office of the President is doing is allegedly needed to make things right and to uplift the lives of the Filipino people. Based on the post, he expressed his deep gratitude to all the staff for the important work they do.
“What we are doing is necessary today to make thing rights, to make things better, to make the lives of each Filipino better.That is how important our jobs are and that is why from the depths of my heart, I am grateful to you for the work that you have done,” Marcos Jr. said based on the post.
Recently, Pres. Bongbong Marcos approved the service recognition incentive or SRI and the gratuity pay for the government employees.
