Amid the Corruption Issues in PH, Malacañang Usec. Claire Castro Calls on Filipinos To Give 100% Love for PH
Malacañang press officer undersecretary Claire Castro spoke on the love for country amid the supposed massive corruption issues in the Philippines.
Thousands of people went out on the streets to protest against the supposed massive flood control corruption in the Philippines. Several celebrities in the showbiz industry even joined the “Trillion Peso March” which was first held last September 21 and followed by the recent rally last Sunday, November 30.

Several congressmen and officials of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) are accused of supposed flood control corruption. Some senators were also name in the alleged corruption issue in the country. Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla recently reiterated the commitment of the Marcos Jr. administration for accountability over the flood control mess. He stressed that those who will be found guilty will be jailed.

Undeniably, the supposed multi-billion corruption in the Philippine government left countless Filipinos frustrated. Many Filipinos claim that they find it hard to love the country considering the recent frustrating revelations in the nation.
However, as for Malacañang press officer undersecretary Claire Castro, we should not think that the Philippines is hard to love. According to her, the country has no mistake and the ones at fault are the individuals who are greedy over the public funds.
“‘Wag natin ilagay sa isip natin na mahirap mahalin ‘yung bansa. ‘Yung bansa natin, wala naman siyang kasalanan. Ang mga [may] kasalanan ‘yung mga ganid sa pondo ng bayan,” she said.

Malacañang press officer Claire Castro called on the Filipinos to give our 100% love for the country. According to her, those who allegedly should not be loved and should be removed from their position are the greedy individuals.
“So mas lalo nating ibigay ‘yung 100% nating pagmamahal sa bansa natin. Ang hindi natin mahalin dapat, ‘yung mga korap. ‘Yun ‘yung tanggalin natin. Gusto ko sabihin sa taumbayan na mahalin natin ang bansa natin,” the Malacañang press official said.
Currently, the flood control investigation is ongoing and it is led by the Independent Commission for Infrastructure or ICI. The three-member body was created upon the order of President Bongbong Marcos. However, the President himself was tagged into the flood control mess.
Resigned House Budget Appropriations Committee chairman Zaldy Co accused Marcos Jr. of allegedly inserting a P100-billion budget in the 2025 national fund and receiving a P56-billion kickback among others. Amid the allegations against the President, Malacañang claimed that Co allegedly wants the investigation to stop so he implicated the President.
Zaldy Co also released the supposed budget insertions of presidential son and Ilocos Norte Congressman Sandro Marcos. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the Congressman is set to appear before the ICI.
Recently, the Palace also revealed that Pres. Bongbong Marcos vowed that a “big fish” is one of those who will be jailed soon due to the supposed flood control corruption.
